Hurricane Relief Drive: Stand with Us to Support Those in Need


The Knights of Columbus, in collaboration with St. Vincent de Paul at Mary, Queen of Saints Parish, are organized a hurricane relief drive at Our Lady of Fatima Church. We gratious thank you for your support of the effort to help the hardest-hit areas in North

Our Council has hosted or sponsored the following over the 2023-2024 fraternal year.

• Hosts weekly Monday evening Rosaries at the Blessed Carlo Acutis Adoration Chapel

• Collects $7,600 annually for Bishop’s Project (McGuire Home & St Anthony School)

• Assists with decorating/undecorating the churches within MQS Parish

• Hosts various Holy Hours for MQS Parish, including the Silver Rose and St Joseph Icon

• Financially sponsors Seminarians in the Pittsburgh Diocese, donating $1,500 via RSVP

• Coordinates and serves food & drinks at various Mary Queen of Saints functions

• Assists with cleaning up facilities & grounds within Mary Queen of Saints Parish

• Partners with Mary Queen of Saints donor for purchase & distribution of Matthew Kelly books

• Donates to the Our Lady of Fatima School’s Angel Fund

• Distributes “Keep Christ in Christmas” items at Mary Queen of Saints Parish

• Collected and delivered 3 loads of personal hygiene products to Adoption Connections for refugees, besides 6 additional loads of diapers and blankets, etc.

• Assisted Deacon Bob sorting 800+ coats from the MQS Coat Drive and delivering them to various organizations within the area

• Works the Mary Queen of Saints Fish Frys

• Built and painted 5 work benches for CommuniCycle’s new facility on March 9 in conjunction with Trinity Council.

• Holds “Keep Christ in Christmas” poster contest at Our Lady of Fatima School

• Hosts Mary Queen of Saints Parish trips (e.g. St Anthony’s, Football Hall of Fame, Pirates game)

• Donates care bags, cookie trays, Christmas & Easter cards, etc. to Beaver Elder Care

• Collected, repaired, and gave away over 225 bicycles in Partnership w CommuniCycle

• Donates coats to Hopewell students via the Coats for Kids Program

• Members worked the door and sold 50/50 tickets for the Our Lady of Fatima 5th Basketball Tournament

• Members assisted with the setup and working the Passion Make Us Believers play at SS Peter & Paul in Beaver besides financially sponsoring it

• Awards a $1,000 College scholarship annually

• Assists with setup, working and teardown of the Our Lady of Fatima Flea Market

• Donates to Wreaths Across America and various War Memorials

• Trims/removes trees and bushes around the church and school properties

• Holds Free Throw and Soccer Skills Challenges

• A member’s company replaced the roof on the storage building behind Our Laday of Fatima School providing the labor gratis; members cleaned up the debris and hauled to the dump

• Council purchased, delivered, and spread 6 tons of P2 limestone for pad of new storage shed at Our Lady of Fatima School

• Raised over $4,800 to benefit local charities at the Premier Cornhole Tournament

• Raises money and works the Beaver County Special Olympics Track & Field games

• Received the Thomas P. Conroy Award for raising the most money within the respective council tier at the Bishop’s Project Appreciation Dinner

• Volunteers and donates to the Cross Catholic Outreach Food Packaging Event

• Two delegates and our District Deputy from our council attended the 126th PA State Convention

• Made STAR Council

Our council here at Our Lady of Fatima Church sponsored the following activities:

- Repaired roof on the Our Lady of Fatima School shed

-Collects $11,000+ annually for Bishop's Project (McGuire Home & St Anthony School)

- Hosts various Holy Hours and the Latin Masses at St. Titus Church

- Financially sponsors Seminarians in the Pittsburgh Diocese

- Coordinates and serves food & drinks at various Mary Queen of Saints functions

- Assists with cleaning up facilities & grounds within Mary Queen of Saints Parish

- Partners with Mary Queen of Saints donor for purchase & distribution of these books

- Donates to the Our Lady of Fatima School's Angel Fund

• Holiday Giveaway of 71 bicycles in Partnership w CommuniCycle

• Financially sponsored a Seminarian

• Donated to Wreaths Across America and the Brighton Twp/Hopewell Twp War Memorial: Dedicated to Hopewell Staff Sergeant Dylan J. Elchin, USAF

• Awarded a $1,000 College scholarship

• Trimmed trees and cleaned up around the church and school property

• Hosted the St. Joseph and Silver Rose Icons and Holy Hours

• Cooked and served brats and beer at the Mary Queen of Saints Oktoberfest

• Assisted with cleaning out the storage shed and rectory garages

• Worked at the Beaver County Special Olympics Track & Field games at Geneva College

• Held “Keep Christ in Christmas” poster contest

• Donated cookie trays and socks to Beaver Elder Care

• Partnered with MQS donor for purchase and distribution of “Holy Moments” books
